As is so often the way in the entertainment industry, we got a call on the Wednesday for some platforms needed for the Friday.
But these were no ordinary stages.
For a start, they were for the X Factor.
Secondly, they were for a return visit by former runner-up Rebecca Ferguson.
And last but not least, they had to glow warmly from within.
Typically, fingers were extracted and we got the job done – to everyone’s satisfaction.
